Mendwell is in-network with select insurance plans and offers straightforward per-visit rates for self-pay patients. Many of our patients choose to use their out-of-network benefits by submitting a superbill to their insurance for reimbursement. We also accept HSA/FSA funds and offer package pricing to help make care more accessible. Contact our team to see how we can help!
We know seeking pelvic floor physical therapy can feel uncertain, but we're here to guide you every step of the way. Your journey begins with a thorough evaluation to understand your specific needs and create a personalized treatment plan. Every session is one-on-one with your dedicated pelvic floor specialist in a private treatment room. Treatment may include manual therapy, exercises, biofeedback, and education to help you reach your goals. We'll also provide you with strategies and exercises to support your progress between visits.
You do not need a referral from a doctor to start pelvic floor physical therapy! However, specific insurance plans may have requirements for coverage of services and we encourage checking with your insurance provider directly. If you find that your insurance plan requires a referral, please don't hesitate to contact us.

At your first appointment, your physical therapist will take the time to understand your unique needs, perform a gentle evaluation, and work with you to set meaningful goals for your care. Together, we’ll discuss a treatment plan that may include specific exercises, hands-on techniques to ease discomfort and improve movement, and supportive therapies like gentle heat or ice. You’ll also receive tips for exercises you can do at home to support your progress. During this visit, we’ll talk through the recommended frequency and duration of your care, ensuring you feel confident and supported every step of the way.
We ask for notice by 12:00 PM on the business day before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule in order to avoid a cancellation fee. This policy allows us to offer available appointments to other patients seeking care. If you're unable to provide this notice, you can avoid our cancellation fee by either rescheduling within 48 hours or switching to a telehealth visit. We value both our patients' and therapists' time and maintain this policy to ensure everyone can access the care they need.
