About

Kara Schuft, PT, DPT

Kara Schuft is a Portland native who brings over 8 years of dedicated physical therapy experience to Mendwell Pelvic Health. With advanced training in pelvic rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and orthopedic care, Kara creates personalized treatment plans that empower patients on their healing journey. Her approach combines evidence-based techniques with compassionate care, specializing in pelvic health, women's health, geriatrics, and chronic pain management.

Kara's academic excellence and leadership shine through her summa cum laude undergraduate degree and magna cum laude doctorate, complemented by ongoing professional development through prestigious institutes like McKenzie and Herman & Wallace.

When she's not helping patients reclaim comfort and function, you'll find Kara cooking up new recipes, exploring Pacific Northwest hiking trails, playing ultimate frisbee, or enjoying quality time with her family and her dog, Jaz. Her commitment to education extends beyond the clinic as she regularly shares her expertise through guest lectures and community outreach.
