Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist

About

Kris Pietro, OTD, OTR/L

Kris brings a unique blend of occupational therapy expertise and anthropological insight to her pelvic health practice. As a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from California, she specializes in creating inclusive, affirming care environments where clients are recognized as experts of their own bodies.

Kris developed her client-centered approach while working with neurodiverse populations, learning to creatively address barriers to full participation in daily activities and meaningful experiences. Her background in anthropology informs her holistic understanding of how sexuality intersects with identity, disability, culture, and gender expression.

Passionate about education, Kris developed an interprofessional course teaching healthcare professionals how to address sexuality through trauma-informed, inclusive frameworks. As a queer provider, she is deeply committed to creating spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals feel not just welcomed but truly understood.

Outside the clinic, you might find Kris catching waves as a novice surfer, exploring art galleries, or enjoying nature adventures with her fiancé and beloved Newfoundland-mix, Kona.
