Dr. Lisa Woolridge brings a unique blend of military precision and compassionate care to her role as a Physical Therapist at Mendwell Pelvic Health. After earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014, Lisa began her career serving in the United States Army, where she treated soldiers and family members for a wide range of conditions from orthopedic issues to post-operative care.
Since moving to Portland to start her family, Lisa has dedicated herself to specializing in pelvic floor care, with particular emphasis on supporting pregnant and postpartum clients. As a mother of two herself, she brings firsthand understanding to the recovery process following childbirth. This personal experience, combined with her postpartum doula training, allows her to provide truly empathetic care during this transformative time.
Lisa approaches each patient holistically, taking time to understand their unique needs and concerns. "I want my patients to feel welcome, understood, and cared for," she says. "Pelvic Health is a field where it's especially important to have a holistic approach and individualized care."
When not in the clinic, Lisa embraces an active lifestyle – you might find her running (she's a two-time Mt. Hood 25k finisher!), knitting, perfecting her sourdough, or chasing after her two energetic boys.
